Energy Efficiency Rewards for Flogas Customers

The Energy Efficiency Obligation Scheme (EEOS) is an energy efficiency initiative by the Government of Ireland. This scheme aims to enhance energy efficiency across homes, businesses, and communities in Ireland.

In Ireland, energy suppliers, referred to as Obligated Parties under the scheme, are required to achieve annual energy savings. Flogas Ireland, as an Obligated Party, fulfils this obligation by financially supporting energy projects for homeowners, businesses, and communities throughout the country.

The scheme assists homeowners, private landlords, businesses, local authorities, and approved housing bodies in enhancing energy efficiency in their properties. This support extends beyond building upgrades and may include improvements in business processes, vehicle fleets, and infrastructure. Find out more at our EEOS FAQ page. Homeowners can also receive additional grants through the SEAI for carrying out the works above as well. See Below:

Homeowners

Homeowners can obtain financial support from Flogas Ireland for energy upgrades to their homes. Examples of such upgrades include installing heat pumps, upgrading to a more efficient boiler or heating system, adding wall, roof, or attic insulation, replacing windows and doors with energy-efficient versions, and improving lighting.

To receive support from Flogas, a home energy assessment is required before the work begins, which involves a BER assessment followed by an inspection once the upgrades are completed. All upgrades must be performed by a professional installer and must meet the necessary standards and regulations. Homeowners can also receive additional grants through the SEAI for carrying out the works above as well. Request More Information
