The Gaslight cylinders are about half the weight of the traditional steel cylinders and have another huge advantage over them. Because of their semi- translucent exterior, I no longer have to worry about running out of gas when the shops are closed as I can see exactly how much gas I have left. I’m a fan!”

Johnny, who has been with Club some 16 years, reported a major interest in the new cylinders from those holidaying in the grounds of the hotel, especially the fact that it was so lightweight. “I have some semi-retired members who are finding the heavier bottles a bit more awkward to manage and was really keen to find out more about the new Gaslights.”
Founded in 1971, the Irish Camping and Caravan Club is Ireland’s largest voluntary organisation for those interested in camping and caravanning. It organises social meets and rallies for its 500 family memberships all year round throughout Ireland.
