Following a terrific response last year, Flogas and Brite Mobility have once again saddled up to deliver a larger fleet of festival e-wheels for GIAF 2022. Organisers, artists, accredited staff and ticketholders can now zip around Galway city free of charge on thirty-five carbon-neutral e-bikes during the festival run.
Flogas, the energy partner for GIAF, has designed new branding for this fleet of super-fast ebikes that can be located by users in the Brite app’s map. Bikes can be found across Galway city and can be hired from 5am - 12.30am from 11th to 25th of July via the Brite app.
This year, there will also be a buzz of pre-festival promotional activity, with 50% off a selected number of Flogas branded bikes that are live in Galway city currently. There’s also a chance to enjoy a 1-hour free ride on any Brite ebike by using the promo code FLOGASSOLAR. Both promotions are running from 20th June to 11th July.
Flogas is also sponsoring a short series of Brite’s Bites festival-themed podcasts, featuring interviews with artists performing at the GIAF which will be available to hear during the festival.
John Rooney, managing director of Flogas, energy partner for GIAF, said, “We launched the free festival e-wheels with Brite Mobility last year and they just took off. They were so well received, so naturally we’re delighted to team up again with Brite for GIAF 2022, which is promising to be an ‘electric’ event.”
Flogas is one of Ireland’s fastest growing energy providers, providing renewable electricity, natural gas and LPG on the island of Ireland.
Colin Barry, founder of Brite Mobility said, “Brite are steadfastly committed to providing alternative transport options across Ireland and we are delighted to be partnering with our friends at Flogas and GIAF again this year. Festival goers can fly across town on demand without having to take a taxi or wait for a bus and the hardworking crew and volunteers at the festival will use our cargo ebikes and mopeds to help deliver the largest and best GIAF yet.”
