It was ‘game faces on’ for potential rugby stars of the future as some of the U7s at De La Salle Palmerston FC had fun ‘lining out’ to announce Flogas as the proud sponsor of the Club’s electronic scoreboard. Committee member and past president Ciaran Daly said “We are delighted that Flogas has sponsored our electronic scoreboard as it is a facility that all our teams can enjoy, no matter what level they play at. It brings a welcome ‘big game’ feel to all our home games, tournaments and competitions.”
“The Club has always had a reputation for playing competitive Rugby at all levels and new members will very soon realise that by joining, they have become part of a special family within Leinster Rugby and will enjoy the warm friendship and comradeship for which the Club is well known. It’s a true community club,” Ciaran continued.
De La Salle Palmerston FC is over 100 years in existence, making it one of the oldest rugby clubs in Ireland. It has over 500 mini and youth players and fields adult teams from 1st to 4th. It also boasts an Under 20s team, a ladies team and a special needs team, the Eagles. The Club recently celebrated winning the Under 15s and Under 18s Leinster League titles.
