Get your sea legs ready as Flogas is delighted to be a sponsor of the Irish Maritime Festival in association with Maxol taking place at Drogheda Port from 19th – 21st June 2015. It will also incorporate the Drogheda Motor Show and is hosted by Louth County Council and the Drogheda Port Company with sponsorship from many local companies, including Flogas.

What started as a town celebration in 2013 has now transformed into a national event. The 2014 festival attracted in excess of 35,000 people with expectations high for an increase in these numbers once again this year.

A feast of maritime fun is expected including the Boyne Boat Race, show-stopping water sports, a Boyne swim, a maritime pavilion plus a host of cultural and family entertainment will accompany the arrival of six classic sailing ships of a bygone era to Drogheda port.

Onshore, a revamped warehouse will be transformed into the maritime pavilion, featuring a temporary beach area and a food village celebrating local artisan food producers, along with art, photography, maritime history and kids play zones.
