Flogas Attends New LPG Ship LaunchThe Bristoe, Rotterdam March 2014

A new ship, the Brisote, is being added to the Chemgas fleet shipping LPG to Flogas marine terminals in Drogheda and Cork. Flogas managing director Richard Martin and his wife Theresa attended the naming ceremony in Rotterdam on 13th March, 2014.

Theresa Martin was invited by Chemgas to be godmother to the Brisote, a 2,700 cubic metre vessel, which will be used as part of the fleet servicing Flogas in Ireland. Adding a new ship to a fleet is a time of great celebration and following nautical tradition, they are launched with a ceremonial naming of the ship by a specially- selected godmother.
