The brand new 86 metre long MV Brisote made its first voyage to Ireland on 13 May 2014, arriving at the Flogas terminal in Drogheda Port. The MV Brisote was officially christened by its Irish ‘godmother’ Theresa Martin, wife of Flogas Ireland managing director Richard Martin, at a naming ceremony in Rotterdam in March 2014.

The 2,700 cubic metre vessel is the latest addition to the fleet servicing Flogas in Ireland which is operated by Chemgas, a Dutch-based specialist shipper.

It was delivering over 1300 metric tonnes of gas to the Flogas terminal at Marsh Road for onward distribution nationwide.
