The Product

LPG is highly efficient and cost effective energy source. It is a clean burning, controllable fuel (being free of lead and sulphur), providing an alternative energy source in today’s society where environmental concerns are often at the forefront of consumers’ minds.

In cylinder format, LPG is highly versatile and mobile. Our cylinders are compatible with all gas appliances, whether a mobile heater, barbeque or patio heater and as such, Flogas bottled gas is the perfect accompaniment to today’s modern lifestyles.

Product Range

Flogas offers a comprehensive range of butane and propane cylinders. Butane cylinders range from 7kg to 11.34kg, while propane cylinders range from 10.89kg through to 47kg, with patio gas and forklift truck cylinders also available. While all our cylinders meets stringent health and safety guidelines, Flogas use secure tamper-proof cylinder seals (Securiseal) for Flogas Butane and Propane cylinders. Such seals are a sign of a quality product and a guarantee that the cylinder is full and has been tested to the highest standards. We can also provide expertise and support for those dealers wishing to expand their business by offering appliance sales.

Distribution Network

Flogas has an excellent nationwide distribution system throughout Ireland. There are three marine gas terminals at Belfast, Drogheda and Cork and a land terminal at Ballyhaunis. We also operate through a nationwide network of distributors who fill and deliver bottled gas to dealers. Such distributors are strategically located throughout the country so that we can guarantee a first rate, prompt delivery service to all our dealers.

Cylinder Management

Flogas provide an ongoing programme of cylinder testing and upgrading. By recycling and refurbishing cylinders on a regular basis, we ensure that our cylinders continually satisfy the highest health and safety standards whilst strengthening Flogas’ brand image. As a dealer, you can help us by always asking your customers for empty cylinders when they buy gas. If they don’t have empty cylinders, you should always charge the current cylinder service rate applicable.

Customer and Technical Services

Flogas offers an unbeatable level of support to our dealers. Our customer service team will react promptly to any queries that you may have, ensuring that that customers demands for quality, performance and value are constantly satisfied. If your query is of a technical nature, a team of highly experience engineers, designers and technicians can advise on everything from installation and energy supply to gas usage and applications.

Safety Advice

With safety being such a crucial issue, Flogas provide all dealers with a brochure covering all aspects of LPG safety. We also update dealers on relevant health and safety legislation that will impact upon their gas dealership and regularly organise fire safety training for those involved in the transportation and/or connection of cylinders.

Merchandising & Promotional Opportunities

Flogas provide a comprehensive marketing support package to allow dealers to market their gas business professionally throughout their local community. Our merchandising package includes storage cages, display trollies, point of sale material, internal and external signage and vehicle livery (if required).

We also provide a full range of promotional support opportunities to enable dealers to grow their business. Our sales team will be happy to discuss any ideas that you may have to develop your business and we are happy to develop tailored promotions reflective of local conditions and your business needs.

Furthermore, as a part of our dealer network, your details will be entered into our dealer database so you will be regularly informed of relevant news and/or promotions. This database is also used to provide customers with information relating to their local dealer, thus having the potential of driving people towards your business.

We encourage dealers to be proactive in providing pertinent information to Flogas, whether this be relating to your gas appliance sales, local market information or change of premise details. Communicating such information back to head office will allow us to provide a better service to you and your customers.
